Get familiar with basic controls, machine movement and proper operating techniques.

Foundation Excavation
Learn introductory excavation techniques and how operators approach controlled digging.

Grading & Leveling
Understand the fundamentals of moving material, grading and creating a more level working surface.

Pipe Laying
See how equipment is positioned and controlled during basic trenching and pipe-laying applications.

Retaining Walls
Learn the basic machine techniques used when preparing and working around retaining-wall projects.

Machine Technique
Develop smoother machine control while learning proper equipment etiquette and advanced control demonstrations.
Saturday Morning
Two Hours. Hands-On.
Each class combines instruction, demonstration and hands-on time so you can experience the equipment for yourself.
9:00 – 9:15
Safety & Equipment Orientation
Introduction to the equipment, controls, operating areas, safety expectations and proper machine etiquette.
9:15 – 9:30
Instructor Demonstration
Watch proper operating techniques and machine-control fundamentals demonstrated before getting behind the controls.
9:30 – 10:40
Hands-On Equipment Time
Participants rotate through supervised hands-on exercises and practice basic machine operation.
10:40 – 11:00
Advanced Demonstration & Wrap-Up
Additional machine-control demonstrations, questions and final instruction before the class concludes.

Bring your valid photo ID and arrive early to check in and complete the required participant waiver.

Get Behind The Controls
Complete the safety orientation and get hands-on with the equipment under instructor supervision.
